Heading to ISO SC 37 — Biometrics January 2024

I've joined the Standards Council of Canada's mirror committee for ISO SC 37 (Biometrics). My focus is on proving liveness and biometric matching for face and consumer-operated sensors. Excited to explore international interest at the upcoming January 2024 SC 37 plenary in Okayama.

It’s been a busy few years…

In 2019, I transitioned from independent consulting to IDEMIA, contributing to the ISO subcommittee for Mobile Driving License. In 2021, I joined Ping Identity, focusing on government-issued digital credentials and inter-company implementations. I also continued my involvement with Kantara Initiative. As of 2023, I'm at Facetec, working on liveness-proven biometric verification and collaborating with international standards bodies.
